At Hepptech, Inc., we work to help organizations,
businesses, and government agencies throughout the United States to leverage information technology and electronic systems to improve control, operation, and management of their enterprise and to realize

Intellectual Property
As
a designer and developer of innovative and unique electronic and computer based technology, Hepptech, Inc.'s efforts are reflected in a range of technological advances in areas such as
communications, software development, Web services, Healthcare & Institutional specific Products, voice over IP, privacy, security, and networking. The company's commitment to innovation is
reflected in our investment in research and development. With a significant annual budget, Hepptech, Inc.'s R&D commitment is based on absolute goals and as a percentage of
sales.
Hepptech, Inc. maintains a diverse portfolio of intellectual property (IP), such as copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, trade dress, and technical know-how. Like other major technology
providers, Hepptech, Inc. routinely applies to governments around the world to obtain patents on our inventions. A patent establishes ownership of an invention, enabling the patent owner to benefit
commercially from investments in innovation. A patent is granted if government patent examiners conclude that an invention is a true innovation compared with existing technology.
Hepptech, Inc. is
updating our IP licensing philosophy and policies because of an increase in the industry's interest in licensing our IP and because of our growing portfolio. This updated policy underscores our
commitment to license our IP more predictably and transparently. Computer users can benefit from this broader licensing of Hepptech, Inc.'s IP should more companies choose to incorporate Hepptech,
Inc.'s innovations into their own products and services.
Intellectual Property Licensing Policy (Revised December 2006)
Parties interested in licensing Hepptech, Inc. IP are encouraged to
contact our Intellectual Property and Licensing at ipl@Hepptech.com. To promote broader availability and use of our technologies, Hepptech, Inc. may
periodically publish new licensing programs on Hepptech.com. For example, the company currently maintains programs for licensing AccuLog® products, communication protocols, popular Accede
custom software, and other technologies.
With respect to patents, Hepptech, Inc. will generally license our patents under fair and reasonable terms so long as licensees respect Hepptech,
Inc.'s intellectual property rights. These licensing terms are similar to how others in the technology industry license their own patents, typically referred to as "commercially reasonable"
terms. Where Hepptech, Inc. determines to license patents, we will generally do so nonexclusively. For products that practice Hepptech, Inc. patents, the royalty rates will follow industry norms.
Hepptech, Inc. will consider all requests for licenses but reserves the right not to license certain IP. For example, Hepptech, Inc. will generally not license patents, including design patents, which
differentiate the appearance of Hepptech, Inc. products and services.
This policy statement highlights Hepptech, Inc.'s current licensing practices and is subject to change at any time, as
well as to variation to conform to applicable laws and regulations.
